The license number will be issued on completion of the instructor certificate. After completion of this course, you will receive the Close Combat Tactical Firearms Instructor certificate recognized by the State of Maine.
This course includes a tactical helicopter (additional cost), Krav Maga, Close Quarter Combat, Pistol, and Carbine.

Course Duration: 50 hours
First aid and CPR will be taught by Tim Acorn, director of the Maine Maritime Academy.
What to expect:
- Safety
- Marksmanship training
- Outcomes-based training
- Fundamentals of carbine and pistol marksmanship
- Tactical marksmanship techniques and training drills
- Malfunctions
- Combat training mindset
- Limited visibility marksmanship techniques, training, and safety considerations
- Teaching/coaching/mentoring
- CPR/ First Aid
- Close quarters battle
- Low light / Range
- Night-time shooting drills
- Shooting in and around vehicles
- Shooting through windshield
- Shooting from the rollover
- Shooting from being dragged
- One man entry
- Training the trainer
- Stress shooting/ Point shooting
- MacGyver / Will be explained at the Complex
- Carbine with 5 magazines pistol belt, LBE,
- or protective vest with associated magazine pouches
- Knee and elbow pads (optional)
- Weapon cleaning kit (with oil for carbine)
- Eye and ear protection (clear and shaded lenses are recommended)
Lunch breaks:
- Water/Snacks Hat/Gloves (rifles will get hot)
- One tactical flashlight
- One handheld flashlight
- Black hockey tape
- Change of clothes
- Notebook and pens
- Handbook
- 1200 rounds of 9 mm
- 1200 rounds of A.R. 15‘s
