
Basic SWAT & Combat Operations course will give an officer (new to a tactical team) a working understanding of the core skills relating to Close Quarters Battle (CQB) techniques, surgical marksmanship, and operator mindset. The course will teach Officers the critical firearms skills needed to successfully be SWAT Officers. SWAT officers will be challenged with and held to a high standard of target acquisition and the principles of CQB.
Course objective: Upon completion of the course the student will have a thorough understanding of SWAT tactics, techniques, procedures, and the mindset/situational awareness required in the performance of these duties.
